So who would have thought a club and bowling ally would work together? I guess the guys at Lucky Sunday thought it was a great idea. And I do have to say, the grand opening went quite well.

We met the Messties at their respective bowling lane (yes, bowling lane). There was table service right to the lane. Of course, in TB style, we were drunk. Thankfully we were wise enough not to attempt bowling (though I did break a 70 the other night! Go me!).

What can I say, I love inflammatory titles. Read on.

Friday night I took one of the local fruit flies out on the town to give her a night without her man. Seems perfectly harmless and fun, right? We ended drinking (surprise, surprise) and finding our way to a No On Prop 8 fundraiser! According to our gracious hosts, the party raised over $800 for the campaign. Very nice.

After the party, I sobered up and drove her back home. Apparently, she didn't have her gate opener, which, living in a gated community, doesn't work. She tried calling her boyfriend but at 4:30 in the morning it's no surprise he didn't answer. We tried to figure out what to do but as both of us were quickly falling asleep, something needed to be done! That's when it hit me--the ground.

Some how I decided the best solution would be climbing over the gate to unlock the gate and have her walk home. It seems simple enough, right? Well, I tried climbing it once and fell back to the ground. Thankfully I wasn't hurt. So what should one do after an unsuccessful attempt at climbing a gate? Well, clearly, try again! This time I made it over the top and landed gracefully on the other side. Ok, maybe it wasn't so gracefully. Apparently I gave myself a contortion. Now I'm walking limping around with crutches. Great.

Yes, on Saturday we gifted 100 fly swatters to Woody. And it was amazing! I'll try to post a video detailing the epic story of the fly swatter, but it may be a few days. Sorry! Twinks need their beauty sleep too!
